‘The Edge of Fire’, ‘Jaber bin Hayyan’ director making ‘Hazrat Masoumeh’ (AS) series

New religious series ‘Hazrat Masoumeh’ (AS) at the helm of ifilm series director Javad Afshar is in the making.

The director told local media on Wednesday that the bioseries on the sister of the eighth Muslim Imam, Imam Reza (SA), is taking the script writing stage with great research underway for several years.

Afshar also noted that the series is one of “those colossal and elevated works requiring considerable preparations.”  

Javad Afshar graduated in directing from Iran Broadcasting University. He has directed ‘Dirty Money’ (2003), ‘Jaber bin Hayyan’ (2006), 'The Edge of Fire' (2011), ‘Motherly’ (2013) and ‘Kimia’ (2013-2015).
